Roller Doors Improvements - New Product Development

Lath sections for the RollMatic roller garage door are now available and being produced on a new in-house production line at the Hormann Amshausen factory.

RollMatic Lath Production

Lath sections for the RollMatic roller garage door are now available and being produced on a new in-house production line at the Hormann Amshausen factory.

Samson Doors have recently posted a news item detailing the new product changes. These include;

- New lath sections that will be 77mm high, rather than the previous 75mm. Hormann have notified distributors that for spare parts orders, the 75mm heigh lath will continue to be available for the future. The manufacturer recommends that if customers require the old lath section (75mm) that they call up Samson Doors and quote the door serial number so the correct components and match can be made on their systems. Such components include wind locks, end caps, handles etc.

- New Decopaint surface finishes and the addition of Cream (RAL 9001) and Light Ivory (RAL 1015) to the colour range.

The Hormann Rollmatic continues to remain one of the main domestic roller doors to have a full specification as standard which includes a complete hod cover fur the curtain roll and matching guides as standard to really provide a bespoke, custom made option. The use of a tension spring in balancing the door operating also means that the external motor used isn't put to its full load and the manual override which can be used in certain situations is fairly unique for this type of electric aluminium roller garage door.
